<p>Creo que no es buena idea ni por performance, ni por usabilidad.</p>

<p>Posibles formas de mejorar la usabilidad.</p>

<li><p>Que se guarde un cache de las peticiones que ya se hab=C3=ADan des=
cargado y que se haga una petici=C3=B3n al rest api s=C3=B3lo si el cache=
 tiene un tiempo de vencimiento m=C3=ADnimo. Eso lo pueden lograr usando =
<a href=3D"http://www.ehcache.org/">http://www.ehcache.org/</a> al moment=
o de hacer una petici=C3=B3n al rest api.</p></li>
<li><p>Que s=C3=AD se haga esa petici=C3=B3n siempre pero que no se conge=
le la pantalla. Que abras el men=C3=BA y se muestren las alertas que ya e=
xisten y que una vez que ya se obtuvo respuesta del rest api entonces se =
reemplace la informaci=C3=B3n con la informaci=C3=B3n recibida intentando=
 mover lo menos posible la interf=C3=A1z para que no se muevan los items =
antes de presionar algo.</p></li>
<li><p>Colocando un bot=C3=B3n de actualizar, Un gesto tipo tweeter estar=
=C3=ADa muy chido. Con eso minimizas el n=C3=BAmero de peticiones al rest=
 api y adem=C3=A1s dejas al usuario el control de que tan frecuentemente =
quiere actualizaciones.</p></li>
</ol>

<p>No reinventar rueda. Ver como funciona tweeter.</p>
